At Hampton Academy we believe in listening to our students and involving them in what we do. Students designed our dress code, helped name our three colleges and are involved in the design of our new buildings.

Each college has a College Council which meets regularly with their College Director. Two students from each College Council are elected to the Student Council which meets half termly with the Principal. Two students also sit on the Academy Council (similar to the Governing Body) to share students´ views with parents, staff, the Chief Executive of the LST and representatives of the local authority.

Students also complete an annual survey which is used by the Academy Leadership Team and the Academy Council to plan improvements to our service for the coming year.
