This is the Learning Portal which contains many wonderful learning tasks for the Academy learners in Year 7.It is organised into 'Steps' such as Maths, English, Science, Languages and ICT; and 'Courses' which cover the LST Thematic Curriculum encompassing features of the humanities, arts and technology.To log in, use:

Hampton Learning is the VLE (virtual learning environment) for Hampton. Students should use the log-ins given to them in school. The Year 7s use the same username they use to access school network computers.On Hampton Learning students can access learning resources such as presentations, revision guides, video clips and lesson resumes and notes. They can also use the messenger system, write and read blogs, participate in surveys, forums and competitions and get updates on key events in student life.
All students have an account on Sam Learning. This is a fun way of learning, revising and testing used by most schools in the country. Students customise their profiles and avatars, buddy up with friends and set one other challenges. Their teachers can set them relevant work which appears when the students log in.
To access Sam Learning:
Enter the Centre ID: TW12HC
The student's username (and password) is their date of birth followed by their initials.
e.g. 010198DJ would be for David Jones, born on 1st January 1998.

My Maths is an interactive Mathematics website to which we subscribe. When students log in they can do fun maths quizzes, tests and challenges. Their progress is completely trackable by their Maths teachers and the website complements both the LST Maths Steps Curriculum and the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 Mathematics.Students should contact their Maths teacher for a log-in.
GCSEpod
www.gcsepod.co.uk GCSEpod is a fantastic service available to all students in Years 9, 10 and 11. The 'pod' contains hundreds of downloadable video tutorials for all GCSE subjects.Students can watch the revision videos online through a PC, Mac or internet TV or can download them directly to a smart phone or MP4 player.
Students need only visit the Pod and then enter their username and password. On their first visit, students can access by using the username and password: hampton.firstname.surname@lst.org adding their personal details as appropriate.
