DRESS CODE

In keeping with the philosophy of Hampton Academy, our dress code allows students some choice as to which items of clothing they wear and in which combination, providing the Hampton Academy logo is visible. The dress code below was designed and approved by our students. We believe that our students will respond with the appropriate degree of maturity to being given greater flexibility over what they wear to school.

Within the mix and match elements of the uniform the following are available all with the Academy logo:

• V-neck jumpers
• Cardigans
• Blazers
• Polo shirts
• Ties

The above should be worn with

• plain black skirt or trousers
• plain white shirt OR Academy polo shirt
• plain black footwear and socks
• plain  black or dark navy coat/ jacket or hooded top with the Hampton Academy logo

P.E. Kit

• PE shirt with Academy logo
• plain black shorts or jogging bottoms
• trainers
• towel

One small stud in each ear; no other piercings

Hair and make up
Hair should be “natural" in colour in keeping with our learning culture and environment. Extreme hairstyles and colourings are incompatible with this.  Discreet make-up is allowed.
