Refreshments Coordinator Y10 and Y7 Parent You can contact us at: hamptonacademyassociation@googlemail.com (or via the Academy Reception) Who are we?All parents of students who attend Hampton Academy are automatically members of the Association and are invited, along with representatives of the Academy's Senior Leadership Team, to attend meetings and take part in our events. What do we do?Our aim is to raise funds to provide the Academy with 'extras' such as software, a digital video camera, books and prizes for students on completing Key Stage 4, contributions towards a document projector, multi-media equipment for languages and towards new PE kit. fake ![]()

We also offer much appreciated practical support, such as refreshments for staff and visitors at Academy events, such as the music, dance and drama performances by students. How do we operate? In order to co-ordinate our activities (and because we are registered with the Charities Commission) we have a small Committee, but function as informally as possible. We plan to have only one meeting a term and warmly welcome anyone who is interested in helping with planning. Those who are unable or don´t wish to come to even informal meetings but are willing to help with events or refreshments on the day are also vital to our success. The support of the Association is very much appreciated by the Academy, and without a happy band of volunteers, it can´t continue! Our termly meetings are also an opportunity to supplement the Parents' Council meetings, by providing an informal opportunity to hear up-to-date news of what is going on within the Academy from either the Principal or Vice-Principal. So what´s planned for this year? Our main fundraising event this year will be the Quiz, which will take place in the Spring Term. This always proves a popular and fun evening for parents, staff and all-comers! We will also be selling Christmas trees again, and one or two other events may be planned during the year. SO PLEASE GIVE US YOUR SUPPORT!Your child will benefit directly from it. We would love to see you at our meetings, but if you would prefer to just help on the odd occasion, please let us know your details (see contact at the top of the page). If you have any ideas for events, we welcome all suggestions. We look forward to seeing you or hearing from you.
