Year 7 Boulogne trip

On the 24th of June some of the Year 7´s from Wordsworth and Conrad went on a trip to Boulogne in France. We had to get up at 5:00 in the morning in order to be at school by quarter to 6. We stayed on the coach for roughly 2 hours before having a stop and then getting on a train. It was some people´s first time in France and they were all really excited. Then there was another short drive before making it to Boulogne. First we walked around the city walls and did a lot of sightseeing, then sat down for some lunch, as we were all very hungry; after we were set free to explore the shops around the town and buy souvenirs for ourselves and family. (We found a giant sweet shop!) Most of the boys bought umbrella hats and became good friends with some French shoppers.
On the beach one rule was ‘don´t get wet!´ Ooops!

It was a fun day in France for everyone and I´m sure we would love to go again. Thank you to all the teachers that helped and that were involved on this trip!
