Last night over one hundred of our Year 11 students arrived at the Lensbury club for their end of school prom. Modes of transport varied, from stretch limousines, luxurious party buses with the music pumping to vintage cars and motorbikes. The girls looked stunning in a range of beautiful dresses in every colour and every style. The boys looked dashing in their brand new suits and shiny shoes.
A great time was had by all, including the many staff who turned up to celebrate the end of 5 years of hard work with our students. Our Year 11s, true to form, know how to party and the dance floor rocked from beginning to end. Staff were pulled on to the dance floor to 'throw some shapes', much to the delight of our students.
I am of course biased and I've been to many a Prom over the years, but have to say that this was the best one.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish Year 11 the good luck with their exam results in August, I'll be waiting with baited breath and will meet them at school on 25th August.
