On Tuesday 17th January, students from Science club did an experiment on ‘Writing with fire'.

This is how we did it!

First we made a solution of water and sodium nitrate.
Next we used a paintbrush to spread it into any pattern we wanted on a patch of dry filter paper. We used a hairdryer to dry the filter paper from the solution.
We set it alight with a splint and the rest was done for us.
In the end we got a piece of paper that had what we had written in ashes.
