On Sunday, my team mates and I (Teddington Rugby) played at Guildford for a rugby festival.  This is the trophy that we won.  We had to win at least two games to qualify for the Shield Cup which is what we did. This is the trophy that we won.   

The games and results were:

Teddington 0 - Rosslyn Park 0. 
 A very good opener against our perennial rivals.  "Park" (anyone at Southend last year can't say this without barking!) were good but some judges, including the experienced Puerto Rican, awarded it to Teddington on points.  

Teddington 10 - Sevenoaks 0.
Sevenoaks are tricky opponents, but TRFC put on a very good performance to win.  

Teddington 0 - Old Reigatians 5.
A disappointing result.  

SEMI FINAL - Teddington 5 - Dorking 5 (Teddington won 5-4 on conversion shoot out) An excellent game saw TRFC score first but Dorking immediately bounced back to equalize.  Teddington's kickers managed to plonk all 5 kicks over, with the last unfortunate Dorking player missing.

FINAL - Teddington 15 - Farnham 0
We anticipated a very close final yet Teddington stormed out of the blocks to take a 10-0 lead.  Farnham came back strong.  A try in the second half gave some space and the day finished very late with smiles all round!
