Old Vic, New VoicesStudents enrol on prestigious projectHampton Academy have successfully been enrolled on the ‘Old Vic New Voices Schools´ Project. This is a scheme run by the prestigious ‘Old Vic Theatre´ in London that offers school students the opportunity to see live performances at The Old Vic and take part in workshops held in school led by leading practitioners, for absolutely free!  Year 11 GCSE Drama are members of the Schools Club and this term they took part in a two hour workshop on the play ‘Design for Living´ by Noel Coward, followed by free tickets to see the production.  All students enjoyed the production and managed to stay awake on a Monday night, despite the mammoth three hour running time! Miss Arthur |
