A wonderful afternoon was had by all when the “Let´s Get Cooking" Club students held a tea party for the children at the Rascals After School Club to show off their newly learned skills.The students, who have been attending the Lottery Funded Cooking Club for the past 12 weeks, made healthy turkey burgers, sausage rolls, sandwiches and pizzas. Baked fairy cakes, gingerbread men and prepared colourful fresh fruit platters for their young guests.
As one of the children commented “this is a real feast!"
After the children had eaten they decorated the fairy cakes which they then took home.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Club members for their efforts and hard work. They have all achieved so much and we are very proud of them.
