Hampton Academy SportBoys' Sports Photo Evening
In February 2012 Hampton Academy hosted their inaugural Boys Sports Photo Evening. The purpose of the event was to recall all the students that have represented the Academy in sports fixtures and competitions for a celebration which was topped off with team photos of all the teams.

These photos were a reward for all students that have competed in the colours of Hampton Academy and for many of the boys, it was their first opportunity to wear the brand new bespoke sports kits. The girls´ sports team photo evening will take place later in the Spring term and those students who play summer sports can look forward to their photos later in the calendar.
The current team photos will form a roll-of-honour that will be displayed around the school and become the first images in the Hampton Academy sporting archive. It is hoped that these photos will create an historic collection that staff, students and families can look back upon over time with the fondest of memories.

Mr Giblin, School Sport Coordinator, would like to thank all the PE staff and students involved in the photo evening and especially Mrs Carpenter who was the expert photographer on the day. Mr Giblin organised the event and said: 'The event was a fitting tribute to the hard work and recent sporting success at Hampton Academy. Who knows what sporting successes we will have over the coming decades but now we have a great library of photos to remember from the early years,' |
