Goal Setting Day: October 7th

As you are aware, Hampton Academy students attend regular tutorials with their personal tutor.  During this time students set themselves weekly goals and discuss strategies to reach them.

The purpose of the Goal Setting Day is for students to set their long-term and half yearly goals with the support of their parents/carers and personal tutors.

All students are expected to attend the academy for a twenty minute interview with their personal tutor that will be pre-booked ahead of the event.  Students will set their long-term personal goals in the Step subjects so that they are able to ‘achieve more than they thought possible´.

On Goal Setting Day, students only need to attend the Academy for their interview.  It is hoped that as many parents and carers as possible will be able to accompany their child to this important meeting.

Uniform is not compulsory for the meeting but students should be dressed appropriately. Students must, however bring their logbook and a suitable pen with them to their pre-booked appointment.

Snacks will be available for those students who are entitled to a free school meal, provided that they are booked in advance.  If your child wishes to pre-book a free school meal for the day, please indicate this on the reply slip below, which should be returned to your child´s base group tutor at the latest by Tuesday 4th October.

Contact details for base group tutors can be found in the 'About Us' section on the website.
