Flash-Mob
At the end of the Hampton Academy Read-AR-thon we celebrated by holding a Flash-Mob in the canteen and then in the library. Dancing readers practised in secret for a couple of weeks in advance and then surprised lunch goers and library goers with their routine.
The 'Gotta Keep Reading' song and lyrics has become our theme tune for this event. The Read-AR-thon has lasted for four weeks with students reading hundreds of books and also raising lots of money for charity. Watch our amazing video! |
