British Airways French Workshop

Students were given the chance to sample life working for British Airways
The first of the two language workshops scheduled for this academic year went ahead on Tuesday 6th December.

28 year 10 French students travelled to British Airways Community Learning Centre and were offered the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities aimed at giving them a better understanding of the skills required for a career within an international company such as British Airways.

'Dressing up in the BA uniform is always a popular part of the day. This year was no different.'

As always, the highlight of the “BA experience" was dressing up as stewards and stewardesses and engaging in role plays in a mock-up aircraft cabin. Reading on-board announcements in French and giving the safety demonstration was another favourite. The very interactive workshop was followed by a visit to Waterside, BA Headquarters.
