On the 11th March, over ninety year 9 students will be whisked off by coach to see the spectacular performance of Macbeth by William Shakespeare. This is a chance for students to get engaged and involved with a performance; after all Shakespeare´s plays were meant to be seen as well as heard. In addition, students get to see the play take place in a reconstruction of the Globe theatre as it was over four hundred years ago. This is the third consecutive year that the trip has been running and students always enjoy the event — a great way to appreciate Shakespeare before their Macbeth assessment later in the year.
We will be posting photos of our trip shortly!
