‘Old Vic, New Voices´ Project

On Tuesday 21st June the fourth and final workshop, as part of the ‘Old Vic, New Voices´ project, was completed by Year 10 Drama GCSE students. Following in the footsteps of the previous year 11 GCSE Drama class the Year 10´s took up the challenge of participating with professional practitioners and workshop leaders. The workshop explored Shakespeare´s ‘Richard III´ play through a range of improvisational skills and text based work. The workshop leaders commented on the range of creativity that the students displayed. The workshop prepares the students for their upcoming visit to the Old Vic theatre itself to watch the production of ‘Richard III´ starring Kevin Spacey. We are very much are very much looking forward to seeing this on Thursday 23rd June.
