A report from our Actor-in-ResidenceAs usual the standard in this year's auditions has been of an exceptional standard. I'm not a judge, but I particularily enjoyed Caroline's musical theatre piece from Chicago and Nick Patient with his guitar performing like a latter-day Bob Dylan. Also striking is the fact that all year groups are participating and are prepared to audition in front of students much older than themselves. That takes nerves of steel!
My only regret is the absense of comics! Or maybe the students feel there is no need. Rod delivering his one liners with aplomb may have filled the void!.....erm......
