Gifted and Talented Dancers

On Sunday, October 3rd, students from Hampton Academy took part in a unique workshop run by Déjà Vu Entertainment. Over twenty students took part, ten of whom went as part of a Gifted and Talented fund generously donated by Teddington Rotary Club.
The students learned lots of street dance movements and routines, and they were lucky enough to have as their teachers the leading dancers Twist and Pulse; Peridot and Statement!

Students who took part had this to say...
“The workshop game me more confidence to dance in front of people...It feels like I´ve gone up a level" Charlie 9CO
“I learnt different street dance moves; it has helped a lot because I couldn´t really do anything before...I would like to continue with street dance" Ethan 9WP
“I would like to get a Dance GCSE, I have learnt how to make a dance performance strong...I thought the trip was amazing exciting and fun!" Harry 9WA
“I have learnt a variety of new fun dance moves" Tim 9WA
“I want to dance in a group and go around the world competing" Sofia 11KN
