If we are successful in our application to have a Sixth Form at Hampton Academy we will need to reduce the number of students admitted at Year 7 from 210 to 180 from 2013. We also wish to allow a small number of students from other schools in the area to join our Sixth Form to take advantage of our personalised learning approach and our Performing Arts specialism.

The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames is currently proposing to remove the "linked primary" model for admission to maintained schools in the Borough. We are proposing to change our admissions criteria to match.

We are running a consultation on all of these changes to the Academy's admissions policy. A full copy of the proposal can be downloaded below. The proposal includes a response form which should be returned to the Academy by 28th February 2011.
